AXA XL today announced the appointment of Gonzalo de la Puente as Client Distribution Leader, Iberia.
In this role, Mr. de la Puente will contribute to strengthening AXA XL’s relationships with clients and brokers in Spain and Portugal, and support the continued development of its distribution strategy in the region.
Blanca Pfretzschner, Head of Distribution for Iberia at AXA XL, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Gonzalo back to AXA XL. Mr de la Puente began his career at KPMG in 2004 as a tax adviser and has since held roles at ICEX, Marsh, Hiscox and WTW. He first joined AXA XL in 2021 as Client Distribution Leader before moving to Allianz Spain as Director of Global & International Brokers. He holds a law degree from Comillas Pontifical University and a master’s degree in International Business Management from the Centre for Economic and Commercial Studies.
