Founded in 1950, the organization has grown from its roots as a playing tour into a nonprofit organization involved in every facet of golf. The LPGA Tour and the LPGA Teaching and Club Professionals comprise the backbone of what has become the premier women's professional sports organization in the world today. The LPGA maintains a strong focus on charity through its tournaments, its grassroots junior and women's programs, and the LPGA Foundation.

AXA Art Prize

The AXA Art Prize (formerly the XL Catlin Art Prize) is one of the leading student art competitions in the U.S. Building on a 10-year legacy established in the UK, the contest provides a unique opportunity to discover, celebrate and reward emerging artistic talent across the country.

Now in its fifth year in the U.S., the AXA Art Prize is open to figurative art created by undergraduate and graduate art students. By entering, students have the rare chance to: showcase their work in front of juries of major artists and curators, feature in exhibitions in San Francisco, Chicago and New York, and win a 1st prize of $10,000.
