XL Catlin strengthens Crisis Management capabilities across Australasia with appointment of new regional head

XL Catlin today announced the strengthening of its Crisis Management capabilities across Australasia with the appointment of Shelley Devane as Head of Crisis Management, Australia. In this role she leads a team delivering a suite of Crisis Management solutions including Product Recall, Kidnap, Ransom & Extortion, and War, Terrorism and Political Violence.
Ms. Devane has over 15 years’ experience in the insurance industry and previously held the position of Australia National Manager, Crisis Management at AIG.
The team is further bolstered by Des Partridge and Lisa Hiscock. Mr. Partridge joined legacy Catlin’s Sydney operation in 2010. Over the last two years he has increasingly focused on underwriting Crisis Management lines for clients in Australia with both domestic and global exposures.
Ms. Hiscock has London market and regional experience in War, Terrorism and Political Violence as well as Kidnap, Ransom & Extortion insurance having worked for Hiscox for over three years in a variety of roles, and has joined the team from Aon Benfield, Sydney.
