XL Group has appointed Lewis Goodearl as Chief Underwriting Officer UK P&C for its Lloyd’s business.

Gavin Bruce-Smythe, Chief Underwriting Officer, International P&C insurance at XL Group said: “Lewis’ diverse experience gained over twenty years in the insurance industry and extensive understanding of the UK primary market position him well for this role.
