EXTON, Penn., October 30, 2006 -- David Duclos, Chief Operating Officer for XL Capital Ltd's (”XL”) global insurance operations ("XL Insurance"), today announced the appointment of Diana Gladwell as Gulf Regional Underwriting Manager for its Marine & Offshore Energy (MOE) unit.Ms. Gladwell will be based in Houston and will be responsible for servicing XL Insurance’s Marine & Offshore Energy clients within the Gulf Coast. She will report to Jeffery Kaufmann, Chief Underwriting Officer for XL Insurance’ MOE unit in the Americas.Commenting on the appointment, Mr. Duclos said: “Our ability to service any industry hinges on having the right underwriting expertise.
