New York, New York, May 24, 2005 - XL Capital Group Assurance (XLCA), the triple-A rated financial guarantee insurance company, today announced that Elizabeth Keys has been appointed Chief Financial Officer.Ms. Keys joins XLCA from General Motors Corporation (GMAC), where she had been Controller of the GMAC Commercial Finance group of General Motors Acceptance Corporation, which provides asset-based lending, equipment finance, structured finance and other services. Prior to joining General Motors in 1997, Ms. Keys worked for six years at Deloitte & Touche LLP, most recently as an Audit Manager. She holds an M.B.A. from the Alfred P. Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute Technology, where she was a Sloan Fellow; and a B.S. in Accounting, summa cum laude, from the Wallace E.
