XL Group appoints Simon Jenkins as Underwriting Manager, General Property, UK

 — XL Group today announced it has appointed Simon Jenkins as its new Underwriting Manager, General Property, UK.

Commenting Ian France, Chief Underwriting Officer, International Property, said: “Simon has joined to drive the sustained growth of our UK property book. We believe that his commercial insurance experience, gained over his 18 year career in the industry, coupled with XL Group’s ambition, appetite and agility, is a terrific combination and will prove successful.

“In the UK we can use our knowledge of the domestic market in tandem with our experience of serving clients in over 140 countries to provide solutions that support our clients to advance their business.”

Mr. Jenkins joins XL Group from RSA where he worked for eight years in various senior market facing and trading roles in its global specialty lines business.
