Our restructuring plans
As part of the ongoing internal restructuring of the combined AXA XL Division, we have transferred the entire businesses of AXA Corporate Solutions Assurance (
The envisaged Mergers were, inter alia, subject to the approval of the relevant regulatory authorities and courts and the registration with the commercial registers of ACS, AXA Art and XLICSE. The Mergers became effective on 31 December 2019.
The Mergers transferred all of ACS’ and AXA Art's businesses to XLICSE, including ACS’ and AXA Art's UK branch businesses (the UK Branches).
In order to perfect the Merger, we were required to make an application to the Royal Court of Jersey (the Royal Court) for permission to complete the transfer of the insurance business carried on in or from within Jersey by the UK Branches. We refer to this as the "Jersey Scheme".
A Court hearing to sanction the Jersey Scheme was completed on 12 December 2019 at 09:00am at the Royal Court.
We completed a formal policyholder notification exercise in the week commencing 4 November 2019 to provide policyholders with further information on the transfer, the Jersey Court hearings and how to make any objection. The same information was made available on this website.
This website provided updates about the progress of the Jersey Scheme.
From 6 November 2019, the following documents were made available to download and print.
