The Escape Game

Ready for an adventure that brings epic stories to life? Join us at The Escape Game where problem solving is the order of the day. Teams will explore a unique setting, uncover hidden clues, and ultimately save the day. After one hour, we will have solved all of the clues! Then we will walk a short distance to Moonshine Grill and enjoy good company and some classic American comfort food.

Fee: $110 USD (based on a minimum of 15 persons) includes ticket, lunch, and gratuities. Depart the hotel 10 a.m. and return at 1 p.m. (approximate times). Sign up on DPRCG Convocation registration site and make payment to DPRCG.

Austin in a Nut Shell Bike Tour

Come see all that Austin has to offer! A leisurely 10 mile bike tour is the best way to see all of the notable landmarks in and around downtown and Lady Bird Lake Trail. The tour includes Town Lake Hike and Bike Trail, Barton Springs Pool area, and Zilker Park. It then turns north to the Texas State Capitol where you will not only see downtown close up, but also learn a lot of the city's history.

Fee: $65 USD (based on a minimum of 10 persons) includes guide, bike, helmet, water and gratuity. Meet at 9:30 a.m. in the hotel lobby. The ride is 2 hours and groups of about 10 people will ride together with 1 guide. Start and end at Hilton Austin. Sign up on DPRCG Convocation registration site and make payment to DPRCG.

Friday Activities – November 1:

Golf - 1:30 PM Wolfdancer Golf Club

Wolfdancer Golf Club is an award-winning golf course named in tribute to the heritage of the Tonkawa tribe of Central Texas. Each player, no matter how skilled, will be tested across a mix of terrains for a challenging yet satisfying experience. The course is 20 miles east of Austin at Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa.

Fee: $109 USD + tax and includes green fee, cart with GPS, outing fee, and range balls; club rental is $70. Reserve your spot in DPRCG’s block of tee times, request foursome pairings, and make payment direct with the ProShop at 512.308.4770; jason.boydston@hyatt.com. Tee times are reserved for 1:30 PM shotgun start. We will determine the best option for transportation based on sign ups.

Kayak and Paddleboard - on your own

See Downtown Austin from Lady Bird Lake! Enjoy being on the water and paddle at your own pace with one-hour rentals from $12 - $25.
