Scott Ewing

Scott has an excellent loss prevention and underwriting background. His client focus and his service mentality help him solve customer problems and deliver on promises. He is working to ensure consistent processes in AXA XL Risk Consulting and to drive a client-focused mentality in the group.

Scott has experience in heavy industries including integrated steel, glass, electric utilities, aerospace/defense and pulp and paper. He joined AXA XL Risk Consulting (the former Loss Prevention arm of Industrial Risk Insurers) in 1986, as a Loss Prevention Associate in the Pittsburgh office. He also worked as a District Supervisor in Baltimore, an Account Consultant in Hartford and a Principal Consultant and Sales Leader in Philadelphia. For two years, Scott served as Portfolio Leader of IRI’s New York Metro Underwriting Region, where he led teams of underwriters as well as AXA XL Risk Consulting professionals. He then moved to a Global Account Leader position. He now serves as the North America Engineering Leader for AXA XL Risk Consulting.

Scott has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Akron and is a certified Six Sigma Greenbelt.
